ANDREW POV:
BEEP … BEEP … BEEP …
As I enter the ward with heavy steps, the beeping sound of a machine fills my atmosphere. My little son is sleeping peacefully or I would say tiredly because he had gone through many difficulties in these last two days.
Sigh.
Bracing myself, I remove his oxygen pipe. I know he could survive without an oxygen pipe for a few minutes and in a few minutes, the nurses would rush in to save him.
BEEP … BEEP … BEEP
The machine starts beeping violently and I immediately stride out of his ward straight to the nurse station.
“My son… He isn’t well… Go and check him, Go…” I yell loudly just trying to make her anxious and she does get anxious from my attitude as she rushes into his room I immediately run to my elder son’s ward, he has no tubes at all, Thankfully.
I wrap him in a blanket, hurriedly pick him up and then rush out of the NICU.
