He Ruined My Fairytale

Those are the voices that surrounded my childhood. Every Night my mother would push me under the bed and then I would hear these weird voices.


Mother told me there are monsters outside and if I showed myself from under the bed they would take me away. That is the reason I stay under the bed until my mother comes over to pull me out.


The monsters are scary, I have seen their legs it’s too hairy. I stay terrified all night and gradually sleep at one time. Every morning, my mother pulls me out and gives me a cake to eat. I love cakes, it’s my reward to stay hidden from the monsters all night.


But, today, today my mother didn’t come over to wake me up and when finally after bracing myself I came out of bed, I saw my mother on the bed, her eyes open and there was red on her clothes.


I woke her up but she didn’t move or reply. I see the cake in the corner and then eat it, I am very hungry.
