Chapter 25

Because he fucking sat there bare chested, a red robe covering his sides and leaving very little to the imagination. I saw the small smirk appear on his lips and tried to breathe.

"I didn't think you'd come" his voice shook me.

I tried to speak but found my tongue stuck, my body unwilling to respond or move an inch. What the hell is this?

All I knew was that I was lost shamelessly checking him out. Even though his face looked pale from all the bruises his body had sustained, he still looked like a Greek god. Like hell did I just say that!

What could I have said anyway? My lips wouldn't move.

Oddly enough all I continued to hear was the sound of his door shutting close behind his friend.

Okay calm down, Lexy. I tried to calm my nerves. Shutting my eyes for what felt like five minutes when really it's just three seconds, I opened my eyes again, found his eyes still watching me with amusement and gulped hard.

I took a step forward and held his eyes.
