I pushed the bathroom's door open and let myself in, my head spinning.
" Lexy, are you alright? " I still heard Craig's coherent voice as he tried to get a hold of me but I locked the bathroom door and turned to the mirror in front of me, above the sink.
I heard the door shake as Craig tried to let himself in.
" Lexy, you're scaring me alright? Let me in. What's wrong? "
I tried to speak, to tell him that I was alright but I couldn't. I watched my reflection on the mirror, saw the sweats that rippled across my face and neck.
" Lexy! "
" I'm. . . . . I'm fine, please. I just need a minute! " I screamed back.
I shut my eyes and tried to think but that seemed to be a bad idea. My head still hurt and the sweats kept coming. It was like there's this fire surrounding me, heating me up from the inside. I couldn't be having a brain tumor.
