Chapter 29 Misunderstanding gone deep

“Lia!” Elissa squealed and took her daughter in her embrace. She hugged her tightly and gave kisses on her cheeks, forehead, and all over her face. Elissa was so happy to see her daughter that tears welled in the corner of her eyes.

Lia pinched her cheeks with her small hands and leaning closer, she brushed her nose with her. Elissa couldn't help but love her even more. This was something Elissa taught her when he was one year.

“Some room for me too?” Jonathan chimed in, feeling left out seeing the mother-daughter mingling. Elissa laughed and putting down Lia from her hold, she went to give him a hug.

“I missed you two so much” she expressed.

“We missed you too. Lia was so upset without you” Jonathan grinned, sharing a look with Lia. Elissa pulled away and wiped her happy tears, she helped them get freshen up. It was seven in the morning when the plane landed. It took the two half an hour time to reach Elissa's apartment.
