Chapter 26: Sing My Name
***
As soon as Sariah recovered, she was locked in the cold and dark punishment room. It was a hell of a room, she says.
It was hell because Archer was the one punishing her for disobeying his rules, for escaping from the royal house.
Her reason was dropped; Archer didn’t even listen to her explanation. He didn’t even thank her for saving his life.
She has been tortured, tied, and not eating for almost a week. Good thing. Her stamina was enough to support her weak and aching body.
Luckily, Archer let her out of the room. Enslave her, again and again.
She was tired, she wanted to rest, but Archer caught her while taking a nap, so she continued doing the chores.
She wept the marbled floor; she even cleaned the big windows, arranging the books in the library. She has mixed feelings—hungry, tired, sleepy, aching head but kept silent.
