Chapter 34: Hurt

“Snap out of it, Sariah!” Sariah scolded herself. “He is an alpha, ruling the kingdom, and you’re just a slave breeder of him!” she hissed.
Sariah was facing the mirror in her bathroom, scolding her reflection against the word she had said to the alpha.
“You have to be strong, for the baby in your womb…” she said, half smiling. “…don’t think of the alpha’s feelings; it was just nothing to him. You are nothing to him, Sariah.” She reminded herself.
Sariah’s eyes were cold and dark, and her hands gripped tightly at the edge of the sink after she threw up—morning sickness it is.
Morning sickness.
When she wakes up in the morning, it always happens that she runs into the bathroom sink and vomits nothing.
She heaved a sigh, rinsed her face, and immediately walked out of the bathroom. Sariah changed her clothes before she walked out of her room. She was slowly walking when she heard some noises at the end part of the hallway, which was Archer’s room.
