Archer woke up early in the morning, and beside her was Sariah, peacefully sleeping while hugging his waist tightly. He smiled for an unknown reason as he gently planted a kiss on her forehead.
"Good morning, stray..." he whispered.
Archer slowly removes Sariah’s hand around his waist without making a sound for her to wake up. He gets off the bed and glances at her once again before walking out of the room quietly.
He went to his room to shower quickly and dressed before walking out of his room. Beta Dillon welcomed him in the living room with a wound on his face. His forehead creased early in the morning.
"What’s with your wound, Dillon?" he asked coldly and sat on the single sofa.
"I had a massive encounter with the rouges and hunters at the west wing of the forest earlier when I got back from the kingdom, alpha," Dillon answered.
