Chapter 20 WINE AND DINE

CALLUM’S POV

Adrian’s expression was priceless, but the douchebag deserved it; he has no right to judge me. This is my life, and only I will get to decide how I want to spend my life. It's not my job to care about his opinions or to give a sh*t about them.

I remember when his father found his mate when he was twenty-six, and he still waited for his mate. From the age of eighteen to the age of twenty-six. Nine years, he waited for nine years for her.

But I can't, I am an impatient person; I don’t like waiting. When I want something, I take it by force. Waiting is not in my nature.

For the first time, I waited for someone, my mate, to come back to me and look where that got me?

Literally nowhere.

So, I gave up.
