Chapter 26 MAN OF MY NIGHTMARES

NAOMI'S POV

"Why do you think I am lying, baby?" I asked her.

"Aunt Mal taught me a few tricks, and your heart is racing. This is a sign when a person is lying, I know." She answered honestly, and I realized that I should tell Malina to stop teaching her such stuff at this age. When the time is right and she is ready, I'll teach her all the things personally but not now.

"But it's fine, mommy; if it makes you feel bad, then I won't ask any more questions about daddy. Even without daddy, I'll love you the same way. I know you did it for me." She said confidently, and I wondered if it was my Angel for a moment.

What happened to my little girl?

"How can you say that, and how do you know all this?" I asked.

"I saw other's kid's parents at school; my classmate George's parents live separately, and he lives with his mommy, just like I live with you. His father doesn't live with him, but he visits him and sometimes picks him up from school."
