Chapter 47 BETROTHED

CALLUM’S POV

I mentally rolled my eyes at the heroic and somewhat dramatic entry of my father. And who the hell is he to decide, who am I going to choose as my mate!

“Your father.” My wolf grumbled moodily and I ignored him. He was behaving this way because he was worried about our mate.

She was going through her heat and he felt that he needed to be there for her. He is not wrong but I am sure she’ll be fine without us. She has been managing everything without us for the last five years.

I returned my focus to my father who was now engrossed in a conversation with Jacob and his daughter while I sat there, feeling like a fish out of water.

I shook my head and came out of the river of my own thoughts and turned towards both of them. I cleared my throat and my father turned to look at me.

“Congratulations son!” He smiled and I frowned.

“Why are you congratulating me?” I asked.

They both looked at me like I was speaking Russian.
