Nicole bowed her head, and she could feel that she was trembling as she put the fruits inside the bag. She didn’t know what she would be doing. She had never been afraid like this in her whole life. She could feel her heart pounding so fast and the wet cold that started to form in her forehead.


It didn’t take long, and she heard the two women paid and then left the store. By then, she turned her head and looked at the back of the twins heading to the other side of the street.


Nicole let out the breath she had been holding since she heard those familiar voices. She was thankful that they hadn't seen her.


“Do you know them?” It was Andrew’s voice which made her head lift.


She looked at Andrew. She was still panting because her heart was still pounding so fast inside of her. She felt like her world suddenly became small. Even if she didn’t do anything, she had to hide from the people close to her.


It was all Ashley’s fault. The man had the audacity to be mad at her.
