'Amalthea, Stop. You will mark him at this rate,' Crystal said with a calm voice, and as if someone had slapped me, I paused in my actions, my breathing evening as my canines went back to normal, making me lick his neck one last time before I looked into his eyes.


This was something new even for me. I don’t know what was happening to me. If Crystal hadn’t stopped me just now, then I would’ve bitten Augustus. I don’t know if I would’ve marked him or not, but the bite would’ve been deep.


Taking a deep breath, I looked at him apologetically, not because I was carried away with my emotions, but because I was about to bite him.
