"I, Eliana Calaway, the daughter of Alpha Stephan, Of The Midnight Pack, reject you, Bruce Marner, the Alpha of The Dark Wolf Pack as my mate!" I say coldly, but Bruce doesn't want to accept that rejection, so he turns to me and says, "No, I won't accept that! No one can reject me, and you can’t run away from me and back to that bloody Colten!"
I could feel the intense pain from my organs, which is the punishment from the goddess. But I refuse to go back to The Dark Wolf Pack with Bruce again, when he refused to save my brother, it was all over between us. So, I repeat my rejection again! Even though Bruce is bearing more pain, he insists on his decision, and screams, "No, never!"
I prepare for my third attempt of the rejection, now I could barely stand up due to the extreme pain, but I managed ro remain standing with the help of Colten, and I say to Bruce steadfast, "Bruce, the Alpha of The Dark Wolf Pack, I order you to accept my rejection!"

Trapped Between Alphas

I was now sitting in the back of the car with Alpha Colten, while Harvey was driving us in the direction of The Blood Moon Pack. Harvey may be a blood relative of Alpha Colten, but he is still a rank under him which means Harvey needs to drive. That was why Harvey wasn’t sat with me, but I didn’t mind that Alpha Colten was.


I was still terrified of the next few moments ahead, who knows what Alpha Dylan is going to say, he might force me to go back with Alpha Bruce. I wrap my arms around Alpha Colten, I knew that it might be a bit strange as he is the Alpha, but in this moment what I needed now was comfort. As I did so I saw he tried to move his arms to go around my waist,  but stopped himself midway and took my hand in his instead. I look up slightly where I see Harvey looking back at us smiling, perhaps he’s happy that I also feel safe in the presence of Alpha Colten.
