"I, Eliana Calaway, the daughter of Alpha Stephan, Of The Midnight Pack, reject you, Bruce Marner, the Alpha of The Dark Wolf Pack as my mate!" I say coldly, but Bruce doesn't want to accept that rejection, so he turns to me and says, "No, I won't accept that! No one can reject me, and you can’t run away from me and back to that bloody Colten!"
I could feel the intense pain from my organs, which is the punishment from the goddess. But I refuse to go back to The Dark Wolf Pack with Bruce again, when he refused to save my brother, it was all over between us. So, I repeat my rejection again! Even though Bruce is bearing more pain, he insists on his decision, and screams, "No, never!"
I prepare for my third attempt of the rejection, now I could barely stand up due to the extreme pain, but I managed ro remain standing with the help of Colten, and I say to Bruce steadfast, "Bruce, the Alpha of The Dark Wolf Pack, I order you to accept my rejection!"

Trapped Between Alphas

After his comment I just stood there silently, I wanted to question him about his decision and tell him why I think he shouldn’t do it. But I knew we were still at Florence’s mate ceremony, I didn’t want to cause a scene to ruin this. She has waited for so long to have this moment, she has always been so kind to me since we met. So I made the rather hard decision to remain silent, for now.


Once the mate ceremony was finished, we start to make our journey back to our bedroom. Throughout the rest of the ceremony, I tried so hard to put a smile on my face for Florence, but I found that task rather difficult. Every time someone would look over I’d smile, but as soon as they looked away my face went back. Bruce opens the door for me, I don’t look at his face but do enter the room before he walks in and closes the door behind us.


“What a lovely evening we had, Florence looked overjoyed” he says walking further into the room, while I remained where I was with my arms crossed.
