With hesitant steps and a kitchen knife in hand, Claire makes her way to the storeroom where the noise came from. The lights in the tiny room were off as usual yet the soft wind hitting her nose tells her that she had forgotten to shut the window. As she walks over to the window, the door shuts close behind her, making her yelp and turn around. She isn't alone. Before she could think of her next move, the brunette is pinned to the wall behind her by a firm grip on her neck.
She couldn't see the face of her attacker but his strong scent of rain mixed with the metallic smell of his blood hits her nostrils. Claire could tell the Rogue is smirking with his face so close to hers and as his grip tightens on her throat, her air supply gets cut short. Her lips quiver only to say one word, "..Mate..."

Biting my lower lip, I take Julian's hand and go to the queue with him. We stand at the very back. "I hope I didn't barge in on your personal time with your friend.", the male's voice rings in my head through the mind link and I turn my head to find him looking at me.


"No, it's fine. Really", I answer through the link, "Just...didn't expect an Alpha to join us in a cafe..."


"If you want, I can take you two to a proper restaurant next time?", he simply offers and I quickly shake my head before speaking back in the mind link.


"That's not what I meant...", I step forth as the queue moves and Julian follows with his hands in his pockets now.


"Then what is it?", he asks before fixating his blue orbs at mine, "I want to correct what I'm doing wrong."


"This...", I bite my lip as I try to figure out how to word my thoughts.


"It's alright. Say it. I won't be offended. Am I bothering you two?", he asks and I just lower my head.
