With hesitant steps and a kitchen knife in hand, Claire makes her way to the storeroom where the noise came from. The lights in the tiny room were off as usual yet the soft wind hitting her nose tells her that she had forgotten to shut the window. As she walks over to the window, the door shuts close behind her, making her yelp and turn around. She isn't alone. Before she could think of her next move, the brunette is pinned to the wall behind her by a firm grip on her neck.
She couldn't see the face of her attacker but his strong scent of rain mixed with the metallic smell of his blood hits her nostrils. Claire could tell the Rogue is smirking with his face so close to hers and as his grip tightens on her throat, her air supply gets cut short. Her lips quiver only to say one word, "..Mate..."

I am sitting on the couch with Alex, watching a movie. Needless to say, I haven't told him about Julian's offer. There is nothing to tell anyway. I am not going to be his Luna. I am going to stay with my mate and telling Alex would only make him worried.


"You okay?", the male suddenly asks, startling me. I look up at him in panic. Could it be that I unknowingly mind linked him about it?? Has he realized I'm hiding something from him?? Is he going to leave me??


The rogue furrows his brows before kissing my forehead, "You look like something is troubling your mind... Tell me what is it, love?" Clutching my shirt, I just lean into his frame, resting my head on his shoulder. The male brushes down my hair with one of his hands.
