When Roxy arrived home, she noticed her mom sitting on their couch looking out of nowhere. Roxy called her mom but got no response. She called her again, now a bit louder. Amelie looked at her and when she realized that Roxy was calling her, she smiled and offered Roxy a hug.


Roxy approached her and received the hug warmly. She tapped Amelie back slowly and sighed.


" What's wrong mom? you're out of this earth just a moment ago." Roxy asked worriedly.


Amelie pushed her lightly, enough to have a space between them and looked at her lovingly.


"Nothing honey, I'm just thinking about what we had discussed the other day."


"My father being your mate? What about it? " Roxy asked curiously.


"Well as you said, I smelled him. Until now I could not forget his scent. I'm not really into studying that time so whenever my teacher discusses our lesson, it's either I was busy day dreaming or sleeping. " Amelie said and laughed with Roxy.
