Three days had passed since the welcoming party that was held for me. I buried myself at home and ignored messages and calls asking me about my confrontation with my cousin, Carla and the imbecile ex-husband of mine, Vincent Verdi.


I had prepared a speech and agreed for an interview with the press earlier this morning. It was short and sweet. Technically, I was not lying about Vincent. He was married to Julia Raine and not Laura Knight.
