Chapter 57 CH 57: The Real Him

(Laura’s POV)

.

An hour later, I sat at the dining table of my home which was probably the only place that had less flowers filling the hall. There were sent by both Vincent and Calvin. I felt suffocated by too many flowers surrounding me. Love them but also annoyed with them.

“More soup?” Raya asked and poured me a glass of water. She had helped me with the bath and for a moment I felt like my mother was there with me. It was especially when Raya sang me a song that my mother would sing to me when she knew I needed her to comfort me away from my sorrows.

“Thanks, Raya. If God had sent me an angel, I think it is you” I smiled at her and drank my soup straight from the bowl.

She chuckled and shook her head, “This angel is getting old and wish that one day she would still be alive to care for your children”

“Raya! You just spoil my moment in peace” I rolled my eyes and wrinkled my nose to her, “I have not found the right man to marry”
