Chapter 64 CH 64: Familiar Woman

(Vincent’s POV)

.

I walked in and heard my stepmother Tara and Laura talking about some photographs and wanting to find out some truth about an accident. They were looking as if they had shared something I was not aware of. Secrets. Gossips. Why women do likes those things?

I sighed looking at them trying to hide things from me. I was going to find out.

“Quit trying to hide things from me. I’ll find it out eventually” I said and walked towards the table where I saw the pudding ready to be served, “Bonnie, carry that tray out to the garden. Papa is waiting”

I instructed the kitchen helpers to carry the tray of desserts and drinks out. They certainly look delicious.

Tara nodded and smiled at me. For years, I had hated her. Tried hating her. Wanting to hate her. But, Tara was just too nice of a woman. Sometimes I thought she understood me better than my own mother.

I wondered why she chose to marry a cold hearted man like my father. She deserved a better man.
