Preparation for the Astral Plane

Caitlyn took Valor back to the field where she had met the professor earlier.

She was hoping to see him, but he was no longer there.

"This looks like a good enough place," Valor muttered, glancing around.

He then turned toward her. "Let's begin by seeing how much you can summon."

She stretched out her hands, and after a brief distortion in space, a teddy bear appeared in her grasp.

Valor’s lips twitched slightly at the sight. "Don't tell me this is it?"

"It is," Caitlyn replied truthfully, causing him to facepalm. "But I think you're jumping to conclusions. Tera here is very strong. Let me show you."

Caitlyn poured some of her mana into the teddy bear. Almost immediately, it began growing in size, its form shifting as it developed a faint level of consciousness.

Its growth stopped at ten feet, making it tower over Valor.

"I guess it's not that bad after all," he muttered. "Is there anything else you can summon?"

"No," she admitted. "It's only Tera."
