Millendrum World. A parrallel world filled with gaias blessing and his will which is simply like planet earth. A world where portals are randomly appearing giving out adventures and treasures for whoever successful person can conquer it. All the influential persons and powerful personalities in this world were conquerors. Conquerors of the portals giving them strong influence and great wealth.
In this world, portals are ranked from e to a and classified their difficulty by its color accordingly:
Class Blue – For easy portals.
Class purple - for hard portals.
Class red – for difficult portals.
Class yellow- for extremely difficult portals.
Class indigo – for godly portals.
While adventurers were also ranked based on the numbers of the portal that they have conquered.
Class E Adventurer – for novice fighters.
Class D Adventurer – for advance fighters with atleast 10 blue class portal conquers.
Class C Adventurer - for advance fighters with atleast 10 purple d class portal conquers.
Class B Adventurer- for advance fighters with atleast 10 red and 10 purple class portal conquers.
Class A Adventurer- for advance fighters with atleast 50 yellow b and 50 red c class portal conquers.
Class S Adventurer – for advance fighters with atleast 40 B yellow and 40 A indigo class portal conquers.
Class SS Adventurer- for advance fighters with atleast 100 indigo class portal conquers.
Class SSS Adventurer- for advance fighters with atleast 1000 indigo class portal conquers.
Once an adventurer reaches a class S adventurer, their names will be announced to the world and be known for their feats. Even nowadays, only rare names were ranked as class S adventurer, and their numbers do not reach even a hundred. How much more of being an SS and SSS Adventurer.
In an isolated island of Millendrum world, in the island called Lanship, our main character name jaejin frostears is currently isolated inside the hospital. After being found out as the only survivor of an idigo portal group raid, he was escorted immediately by the portal association representatives to heal him as compensation for their mistake. It was due to their negligence that the incident happens and it goes like this.
Before jaejin and his mates enter the portal, they went to the portals association to register their names and they have successfully deployed them into a strange bluish portal. However, as soon as jaejin and the adventurers entered the portal, it eventually shows its true color, making every official of the Lanship portal association alarmed. As soon as they received such information, Lanship island portal association ceo Bito Killmers have immediately showed up with his colleagues to witness such an unusual event.
"Everyone we are going to the place where the signal is located and hide it immediately from any other group, do the usual thing, we must protect that portal at all costs." Said by the Lanship portals association ceo, Bito Killmers.
Within couple of minutes, with the ceo of Lanship portals association skill, he and his colleague arrived in the spot and immediately hide it from everyone.
"If those guys are lucky enough, they will be able to hold it within a minute or two" Estimated by the Taverns Association representative.
"A minute here means a day inside a god class portals timeline", said by Bito, then he looked up above him and saw another representative.
"No need to be harsh, I am just merely an observer. But seriously, I cannot believe that they were able to clear such a godly portal" claimed by the manager of Lanship taverns association.
Everyone who have heard the guys word immediately turn around to see if its true. In an instant, almost everyone that is present at that time were astonished of what they have just witnessed. Their eyes immediately popped out as their jaws dropped, unable to believe what they are seeing with their naked eyes.
Infront of the portal, a message appear.
"Portal has been cleared", inside their mind a question appears "A group of bunches of rank e, c and d adventurers were able to conquer such godly portal?".
Several seconds have passed, and no players came out from such portal. At that time, worried for the person who have successfully cleared such portal. The ceo of portals association and the manager of the tavern's association send their representatives inside for an immediate retrieval operation.
"Immediately search inside" commanded by ceo Bito to his subordinates. Without dilly dally, the representatives of both parties went in. On the deepest part of the dungeon lair, they found the unconscious body of a young man laying flat into the ground. They then immediately retrieve jaejin and went out of the portal. A slight sad expression was drawn on their face. With in a couple of second, the representative carrying jaejin went out of the portal and their leaders saw only one person alive.
(With in a second, as soon as jaejin was retrieve out from the portal, the portal behind them shrink out and vanished in midair. Each of the conquered portals will eventually closed when the person who have conquered it, went outside. That is the reason why, as soon as jaejin reach out of the portals gate, the portal immediately closed and vanished in the air.)
Everyone who were present at that time were in a state of shock for what they have just witnessed. A 15 years old boy with a 0 star and e rank status of adventurer have managed to conquer 1 indigo portal on his first try.
"Such a feat by this young guy. As soon as he wake up, bring me the ability tester and I will personally test the young man's power. Ever since I was born from this place, I have never ever heard of a novice ranker successfully conquering a Class indigo portal like this. How much more that the size of the portal is at least C rank portal. Not unless, if this guy has obtained an ascension giving him multiple rise skip of his class from rank e to rank S" Exclaimed by the CEO manager of the Portals Association.
"A skip from Class E to Class S?" asked by the right-hand executive of the portal's association.
"It is possible, and because of such ascending event, all of the monsters inside the lair might have been obliterated. That is maybe the reason why we do not see any of the single corpse inside. We heard from Taverns association that several adventurers have entered such portal, and we only ended up finding one." Said by the representative, with a slight sadness on his face.
"I hope, taverns association would give us the favor of not announcing it publicly and instead going privately to the families of the deceased. Telling them that no survivors have escaped from such portal" beggingly asked by the Portal Associations CEO.
"Seeing that even the portals Associations CEO is begging for our favor here, we will do as you wish and do as you have requested." Said by the Manager of Taverns Association in Lanship City.
"Thank you, we will never forget such favor. Everyone Let's Wrap it up" commanded by the CEO and in just a couple of minutes, silence have covered the entire place and not even a single shade of human shadow was left around that place.
Meanwhile, around the once peaceful island of Lanship. Several families of the deceased have just received such a heartbreaking news. Grieve and sorrow have befallen for them, for their love ones where no longer here with them. Neither bodies nor a piece of their belongings were spared as a memento for them. None were spared and left for their beloved ones.
One of the family that have receive such heartbreaking news was Jacques only daughter. Ciera, a 15 years old arch maiden who belongs from the same guild as his father. Ever since her mother died, her father sunk himself into the frontline of the portals, giving his life for ciera. Now that she has receive such news. Cieras world just collapse into bits.
Ciera is just one of the many family who have lost one of their family members on that day. Moon jaes fiancé and his family have also received such a heart-breaking news.
Yet whom they should blame it for? No one, not even one. The fact that they have lost their love once without having any witness nor corpse is already humiliating for them.
The taverns association and the portals association of Lanship have done a great work fixing the situation at short amount of time. They even managed hiding the fact that there is a sole survivor into that portal.That sole survivor was non-other than jaejin frostears.
In the hospital of the small island of Lanship, there laid an isolated adventurer jaejin frostears.
Slowly regaining his consciousness, jaejin found himself inside the hospitals room. Right now, astonished of him being alive, jaejin looks like a fool who is constantly observing his hands.
"I'm alive? I thought I was already dead. Is this a dream" confusingly asked by jaejin.
He then pinched his face trying to figure out if there is pain to be felt, and yes it is, infact it is very painful for him.

He then stood up from the bed and went for a nearby mirror to confirm if he is alive.
"So, I am still alive." Concluded by jaejin, looking intimately on the mirror. Then just as jaejin celebrates, the door behind him opened.
Jaejin then immediately saw a familiar hand and in just a nick of seconds, jaejin saw his barbaric younger sister visiting him. This visit has immediately destroyed jaejins happiness, for as long as he knows his younger sister, he knows too that something bad will happen to him.
And just like what jaejin is expecting, as soon as his younger sister saw him out of the hospitals bed, she immediately run towards him with a slight watery droplets on her eyes. Her steps were swift like whirlwind making jaejin unable to resist and a wide massive left hook punch has connected and swiftly landed on jaejins chin.

"Now take that. That punch is for mom!" claimed by his sister as jaejin flew out several meters from his previous position. Then In another instant, she then immediately appeared towards jaejin and with a wide Left Raised Knee, his sister landed a chopping kick on his guts.

Jaejin then rolled out and took his defense mode after recovering himself from such consecutive attacks. (HP deduction?) he asked inside.
"Im now on my defensive mode" answered by jaejin.
"Nah that's fine" her sister waved her hands in the air saying lets stop it now "I just send you our rage. Next time please do take care of yourself brother." Said by Jean
(What was that deduction thing right now, and HP? Like the games that I used to play?) asked by jaejin to himself.
Jae jin with a disturbed face from witnessing an unbelievable thing, he immediately went to the nearby mirror. For the second time, jaejin saw his reflection then jaejins eyes popped out.
Just right above his head, was a familiar thing that he knows a long time ago.
"LVL 1 JAEJIN FROSTEARS"

"Hey jean, can you see anything hovering or floating above my head?" Asked by jaejin out of nowhere pointing above his head. Then his sister look above jaejins head and she said inside "Is he mentally retarded right now".
"Brother, have you gone nuts because of my attack?" answered by jean.

(I'm such a fool, so only I can see such things above my head. But this level thing bothers me so much.)

What comes next even made him much more astonished. For right next to his eyes shows up a familiar thing that any gamers will surely be recognized.

Then he remembered how he was betrayed several times by his teammates always making fun of him and making him the bait inside portals room for he was a useless trash, better off dead.
In that nick of time, jaejin finally became hungry of what so called strength and power. His only problem right now is that, he do not know where to go nor to start. But that problem only lasted for a mere minute, for while jaejin is rubbing his neck trying to figure out how he should start his training. Another message appeared in front of his eyes.

Jean who saw his smile, felt creepy and decided to let his brother rest for a day.
" Brother I will go for now, have a good rest." Claimed by jean as she bids her bye bye to his brother.
"Yeah, thank you for visiting me, jean, take care of mother" answered back by jaejin.
"Oh, stop it, you're creeping me out." Interrupted by jean as she closed the door and head her way back to their own residence.
"Finally, I can now proceed with my daily quest" said by jaejin. When all of a sudden, a knocking of the door resounded inside his room.
"Mr. Frostears may I come in, I am from the portals association."
(Portals. Not good,) claimed by jae jin to himself.
"Sure sire, please come in" said by jaejin.
"We are terribly sorry for such disturbance mr. frostears. We promised you that we won't stay long enough. We are here just to figure out something and we desperately need your help for this. All you have to do is to touch this magic power tester."
With out dilly dally jaejin touched the tester with both of his hands and what shows them terribly made a sour expression on the portal's association face.
As soon as they have regained their composure, both of the representatives from portals association abruptly bid their farewells, giving him a formal bow and making it a little bit awkward for jaejin.
"Wasn't that color saying that I am a rank...e adventurer?"
Meanwhile outside the hospital, the two representative who have taken the assessment of jaejins power have a difficult expression on their faces.
"Wasn't he still an e ranker?" asked by the other representative.
"Yes, what a shame, and here we are thinking that he is something" condemned by the other representative.
But the most disappointed one among all, was none other than the ceo of Lanship portal association, Bito Killmers.
"What a waste of time, here I thought, he has ascended and move to class s. Pity, maybe it is your fate jaejin frostears" claimed by Bito as he watched the scene using his smartglasses.
Meanwhile after being left out alone inside his room. Jaejin immediately trained his body with a great goal on his mind saying. "To grow strong and become the strongest man ever".

Each day, jaejin would receive such a quest for his physical training giving him fruitful reward, and for the past days, jaejin finally leveled up to lvl 10 with a status of ??????.

Then to his surprised his own inventory opened on its own and it shows him what was left inside of it.

He then took out the key and a message have appeared in front of him.

"Do I have any other choice? of course I will accept it "answered by jaejin.
What appears before him was a whirl of purple portal, and the wideness of it clearly states that it was a rank c portal. Then his previous portal experiences went rushing into his memory and then his eyes went serious.
"If this will make me stronger, then I am more than willing enough to take this risk." So with his dark knife on his left hand, jaejin courageously enter the rank c portal by himself.
