While speaking, another notification popped up in front of her..

"Alacad, elena finally broke the silent, is it normal for vampires to receive Task from a system notification upon turning?" Elena asked.

Task? System? Notification? What are you talking about Elena,are you sure you're OK?

Elena, seeing the confused look on alacad's face, realised whatever she was seeing was not normal. she also realised alacad had no idea of the system, so she decided to keep it a secret for now. Things were already weird, and she wasn't about to make things more difficult for herself.

[sigh] she sat opposite Alacad. I have some questions to ask, and you have a lot of explaining to do. she told alacad,who nodded in affirmation for her to continue.

If what you say is true,why then did you kidnap me? Wouldn't it be better for you to explain to me in the first place?

Raising an eyebrow, alacad asked, "If I had walked up to you and started telling you about another planet and aliens, would you have believed me?" If I had told you about some blood sucking creatures who want to control the humans and turn them into livestock, would you have believed me?

Elena kept quiet for a long time before speaking again.

What planet are we on ?

"Planet Zuk." Alacad responded.

Now, elena could understand why the system had asked her to learn about planet zuk. Hnm, can you tell me more about planet zuk? She asked.

"Well, planet zuk is located in the Orion galaxy, which is approximately 2.537 million light years away from the earth. In planet zuk we usually experience 6 months of sunlight, and 6 months without sun, but due to our sensitivity to sunlight the ancient Lords , with the help of their abilities were able to keep the sun from affecting the vampire kingdom of zastlevania by erecting an invisible barrier which prevents the sun from affecting the vampires."

As you can see, the moon is up now,so you may not be able to understand until it's time for the sun to come up, so long you're in the vampire settlement the sun will not be able to harm you. But the moment you step out of the vampire territories into the vast land of the beasts and the undead creatures, then you can experience the full effect of the sun.

Also, the barrier prevents the beast and the undead creatures from stepping into zastlevania.

"Considering the distance from zastlevania to Earth, how then did you bring me here in one day?" Elena asked.

Well, we have teleportation devices. so long we have the coordinates to our desired destination, we can get there within minutes.

Another thing is, one day in zuk is equivalent to 7 days on earth, so even though you've been here for four days ,you've been gone for four weeks by earth's calculations.

Wait, what? four good weeks? Elena yelled. alacad just smiled without saying another word.

Taking a deep breath, she asked, "Since your skin is sensitive to sunlight, how then do you survive on earth?"

well,while a fairly young vampire would find it hard to cope in direct sunlight, the same cannot be said about a Lord like myself. I can stay for days under direct sunlight, apart from the tingling feeling it brings it has next to no effects on me, but then again, there are ways a young vampire can survive under the sun.

[Ding] A new notification screen popped up in front of elena. +1 stat to intelligence, host has gained new knowledge about the planet, "zuk". +1 stat to intelligence host has gained new knowledge about the history of zastlevania.

Alacad, can I go back to earth? I have a life back there you know ,I can't just throw what I have away, even though I'm an orphan with no family to worry about, I still have friends and colleagues, people who would be worried about me. Surely you don't expect me to stay here, do you?.

Well you can always go back to earth when ever you like, but I wouldn't advice you to do that anytime soon, first you're practically a new born vampire, without proper training you wouldn't be able to control yourself around humans,if you know what I mean.

Moreover, the other lords are already making their moves, which is why I brought you here in the first place. now is the time to make you stronger. You need to train elena , train, and become stronger if you want to be able to face all 7 lords in the future.

Moreover the lords are no easy opponents, no vampire is, in the first place. As vampires we start training from a very young age, and due to the fact that we can live for thousands of years we have next to eternity to train and master our abilities, if that makes sense.

So you have a long way to go if you want to save humanity, and by extension, keep the balance of the universe in check.

I never said I wanted to save the world or be anyone's hero, elena retorted. I just want to be a lab technician and nothing more.

Shaking his head, alacad stood up. "Come, let's take a walk. There's something I would love to show you."

Elena followed alacad out of the room. They made their way through various corridors the whole time, passing various servants and nobles and all bowing their heads as a sign of respect to their Lord Alacad.

Stepping out from the main castle, elena could see how beautiful the place was, vampires were walking around, carrying out their daily activities, and occasionally stopping in front of Alacad to pay their respect.

Alacad led elena to another part of the castle, where young vampires could be seen training and learning different martial arts techniques.

"I wanted to show you how serious we vampires take our training. you see, the vampires have always been power driven, so it's only natural for us to train our body and grow more powerful." Alacad said .

Leading her to yet another hall, she could see the word "Armoury" boldly written at the entrance of the hall.

"Elena, to show you my support and to let you know I'll stand by you no matter your decision, wether you choose to go down the part my great grandfather has set or create your own part,I'll support you! So I want you to find a weapon that will choose you, Consider it as my gift to you."

Taken aback by this statement, elena asked, "Can a weapon choose me, or I'm the one to choose a weapon?"

Ah yes, you see the weapons here are no ordinary weapons. to wield their full potentials, the weapons have to be the one to choose you. Every weapon here have a mind of its own, and they also have special skills, this is possible because of the ability of my grand father Lord Grimli , he wasn't just a Lord,but he was also a master Smith man.

The weapons in my armoury were all created by my grandfather, so they are quite unique from what you'll get in a typical weapon shop. Alacad explained.

Oh, I see, elena murmured. Stepping into the hall, she decided to browse through each shelf. To her surprise, all the weapons were ancient weapons. She felt like she had just taken a trip to the 14 B.C.E.

Alacad, no guns? These are all antiques. seeing the look on her face, alacad chuckled,

guns? Are you planning on killing humans? Even the beasts on this planet wouldn't die from the bullet of a gun,let alone vampires.

I'm sorry the only thing you can kill in zastlevania with a gun are humans and trust me you wouldn't want to do that, considering the humans here offer us blood in exchange for living in zastlevania. so I'm afraid a vampire killing a human will upset the balance of things here in zastlevania.

To kill a vampire, you need to decapitate and burn the vampire. a vampire can also die from extreme blood loss, which is rare considering our fast healing rate.

Finally understanding the situation of things, she proceeded to pick up the first item that caught her eyes, which was a pair of dagger. the dagger had one crystal embed on each one of the pair.

Swinging it a couple of times before moving to the next item. Next she picked up a katana, after careful inspection she moved to the next, this kept repeating for hours until she came across a two-handed double edged longsword, picking up the weapon Elena got a notification from the system.

claymore also has the passive skill of absorbing all abilities used against its master and can also by-pass all abilities.
