Meeting the green haired girl.

Half expecting Dracula to respond to her remarks, she was surprised when all she got was absolut silence.

But she ignored anyway, stepping out from the bathroom into her room, she walked to the closet and she saw different outfits, though the style seemed to be outdated compared to trends on earth, she was quite glad ,she had various options to choose from.

Picking up a pair of nighties, she retired to the king-size bed in the room.

She kept tossing and turning, and after what seemed like ages, she heard the annoying voice of dracula in her head again.

Tsk tsk , what are you trying to do? He asked .

I thought you were the most intelligent being on the universe. Can't you tell I'm trying to sleep.

Sleep? From his voice, he sounded like someone who had just rolled his eyes. Surely you do know that as a vampire, you don't need to sleep every day. In fact, all you need is rest. You can sleep, but you really dont need it.

This is actually the best time to train, except you wanna die a weakling.

"Thank you, dead guy, I'll pass on your offer. This is the best time to sleep.

She covered her head with the blanket as an attempt to block out every noise from dracula. Tch , pathetic weakling. He said with disgust.

After much tossing and turning, she finally fell asleep.

Weakling! Weakling! Wake up! A low pitched masculine voice vibrated in a head.

This sent her jumping to her feet.

Why, what's wrong? Elena asked , still startled.

It's morning , and we have a lot to do rather than sleep.

Let's start with your task for today. Shall we?

As if on queue, the daily task notification popped up in front of her eyes.

Daily tasks

The host is advised to complete the following task in the next twenty-four hours.

Task 1. Run a distance of 100 km.

Task 2. Learn a new technique in hand to hand combat.

Task 3. Channel your vampire energy for 3 hours.

Rewards! [ hidden].

Punishment for not completing tasks [ hidden]

Still being mad at dracula, she bluntly told him she wouldn't be carrying out any task.

She sat back down on her bed with both hands crossed.

" I see!" Dracula said.

How about we give you a little bit of encouragement.

Another notification opens in front of her.

Punishment for not completing tasks will result in the host's death!.

Rewards upon completing tasks...500 Exp , +1 stat point in agility, +1 stat point in speed.

+ 1 new skill. Instant level up.

Reading the punishment, she felt like cursing dracula out, but the rewards quickly calmed her down.

Hnm, since you like Death so much, why don't you stay dead and leave me alone? elena retorted.

So you can ruin the future of the entire universe? Not a chance . Dracula snapped back.

Getting up, she reluctantly headed for the closet and picked out a pant and a sleevelike outfit, She then heads out of the castle.

This time around, she decided to run through the city instead of heading to the forest she and alacad had raced through the previous day.

While running, she noticed the city was bustling with vampires. Even though it was the early hours of the day, it was as if they never slept.

people were going about their day, some were training outside their house, and others were heading to various locations. She also noticed a statue of Alacad standing tall in the city.

The height could rival that of a skyscraper back on earth. The city was simply beautiful.

The vampires seemed happy. So far, she hasn't seen any human ,even though alacad said humans were in zastlevania.

She could also see various spherical structures in different corners of the roads, with vampires heading in and out from them, some had weird looking machines going through them, these machines were used for transportation, but they by no means looked like the cars and buses on earth.

For one thing, these strange machines were moving at about 8 feet above ground level. The body of these machines looked hard and rough, with spikes protruding from different parts.

She was wondering what the hell it was ,when she heard the voice of dracula, these are teleportation stops, these machines are called fleetier.

The fleetier's serve as means of transporting large amounts of people, from one city to another.

"Oh, I see." she said in her head.

she has been running at a speed of 30km per hour, she had been running for 3 hours straight. she was panting heavily, this was the fastest and farthest she had ever gone her entire life, and she was starting to tire out, paying less attention to where she was hearding she almost crashed into someone.

Seeing how she didn't stop to apologize, the person decided to give chase and teach her a lesson.

She heard Dracula's voice once more, "someone is chasing after you.At the speed you're going, it won't be long before she catches up to you, and judging by your speed, it will take you another 15 minutes to get to 100km."

Hearing she was being followed, elena decided to push herself more and increase her speed. Not quite long, she got a system notification, knowing what it was, she ignored it for now. She came to a halt, panting heavily.

She felt a rush of wind as a figure stood in front of her. Before her was a girl with green hair. She had a very thin figure, with long hair and long eyelashes. She was simply too beautiful , and even though Elena's beauty has drastically improved since she became a vampire, her beauty was still useless in comparison to that of the girl standing in front of her.

Looking at her facial expression, elena could tell the green head girl was angry.

"Well, excuse you, you almost hit me just now. Don't you have manners?" the girl yelled at the top of her voice while taking a battle stance ,as if she was about to go into battle.

Seeing this elena quickly apologised, she was out of breath, tired even, she had been running for 3 hours without stopping to rest, and she knew going into a fight with this green haired girl wouldn't end well for her.

The girl was hell-bent on punishing Elena.

Bringing out a dagger, she hauled herself forward, Elena, knowing she had zero knowledge about martial art and fighting in general, decided to run. She started running, and she made a quick turn to her left, running into the forest that was just a few metres away. The girl chased after elena.

Thinking about what to do ,Elena remembered she had received a skill the other day. By thinking of this skill, she saw a system notification, " the skill Camouflage has been activated." Skill duration 10 seconds. She held her breath as she blended into the environment around her.

The girl who was obviously very angry for not being able to teach Elena a lesson, decided to keep searching, until she find her, she searched for a while, the whole time Elena was standing behind a tree, activating The skill Camouflage over and over again, since the skill had no cool down time.

After a fruitless search, the girl gave up on finding Elena. She decided it would be best to leave the forest for now, until they cross part again in the future.

Elena finally released the breath she had been holding.

"Finally!" She said.

Dracula, who was obviously not happy about how weak Elena was, jumped on the opportunity to make her see how pathetic she was for running away from an ordinary vampire. A vampire who hasn't even broken through to the mage rank yet.

She knew arguing with Dracula was a lost cause, so she decided to ignore him . She sat down on the forest floor, with her eyes closed while channelling her vampire energy.
