Chapter 2:The Awakening 2

It was cold.... really cold...

My body is trembling. Not because of the bitter cold that surrounds me, but rather because of a child who is standing in front of me who has blood on his hands And a child who is laying on her own pool of blood

that child was dead

"ha..."

Due to the sheer eerie silence, I could hear my rapid breathing.while cold sweat engulfed my body as my stomach churn

"W,why...."

Unconsciously, I spat out a voice that was trembling, the child who is standing smiled warmly at me, despite the fact that his pale complexion and white hair, like mine, was stained with blood

"You'll get it all someday..."

His eyes are both cold and warm at the same time as he smiles eerily at me.

"She isn't needed...All I need is you..."

He began to walk towards me, looking pleased. As he slowly reaches his bloody hands towards me soon cupping my cheeks.

"I'll get rid of everybody who gets in our path..."

I only focused on him and soon hazy figures raced at him, grasping both sides of his arms as he struggled, dragging him away.He continued to smile and look pleased as he was led away, mouthing something.

"##########"

'It's like if I'm under water... Is this what it's like to be dead? '

Gently opening my eyes

'Obviously not'

'it's my first time regaining conscious inside of this damn glass tube'. I saw my reflection in the glass showing my short white hair emitting a white glow, unsual rainbow eyes and mostly my youthful looking face as if nothing changed.

'Im finally awake in this long nightmare...' I moved my limbs slowly checking if nothing is missing thankfully its fully intact, strange...

My pupils dilated as i see what was on the outer side of the glass tube, and my breathing quickened. It was a mess unlike in the past that was filled with white lights, The only source of light in the pitch-black room was coming from my glass tube, the fully intact giant glass tubes are now broken and glass are strewn across the blood-splattered floor

'what happened? '

I have a lot of questions, but the most crucial one is... I have the ability to use it. Multiple glowing butterflies were spread in front of me, and their light blue color lit up in the darkness. They were unaffected even if they were in the water.One of them landed on the tube that connects to my nose and mouth, and when I looked at it, I was fascinated by how stunningly beautiful it was. I then turned to see the others, who were primarily moving around in the dark.

memories flood into my mind remembering they are creatures living inside of me, now with no boundaries, this creatures also have multiple abilities that are very useful for my survival. I reached out and touched the glass with my hand. The butterflies came and flitted around it right away.

'I'm not sure how long i was unconscious and what happened, but i can't use them normally and can only be used rarely, but i can now use it without any restriction like in the past.'

"quick..."

i whispered under the tube i was breathing in, wanting to know what occurred and why this place is in such a state.I immediately ordered the butterflies to take a look around.

'From now on, they will be my future eyes and ears.'

thinking it'd be wonderful to exploit these creatures to their full potential from now on, since they've been living inside me for so long and haven't given me anything in return.after a few minutes, one of them returned, passing through the glass tube and landing on my forehead.

"hm?"

There two persons approaching the building at a fast rate

They're not those bastards. also they're powerful.... The male is more troublesome than the female, u have no clue what is going on, but two unidentified individuals are entering the building.

"Haha"

My laugh was muffled by the tube attached to me as I had a concept who the two are.

'It appears that the saviors have arrived...'

They're not the building's personnel or scientists, according to my observations, and it's impossible for them to be here right now since the place is a goner.

'tsk I can't run right now, its too late'

even though i have been here for years, i hardly know anything about this hellhole, I collected the butterflies back in my body while soon started to smirk inside the breathing tube.

He will be a victim like he always been

I'll be a victim today. It's true that I've always been the victim, In this hellhole they took everything from me. For me it's obvious that i should take advantage of the 

situation. Apart from him and the approaching people, there were no other living things in the building.

while waiting for the outsiders, i recalled my dream earlier,

'I have to find that b*stard...'

but for now...Now that the saviors have finally appeared, i will act like the victim that I am.

'First and foremost, in order to survive..'

The eyes that gleamed through the glass tube only contained coldness....

I can feel my eyelids flicker as i regained my consciousness.

'Where...?'

As i began to open my eyes,and seeing a white ceiling. When,

"you've woken"

hearing a deep voice from my side, I shifted my gaze to the side to see who it was. My gaze was drawn to a man with a well-built body who was wearing a black suit and have attractive features showing it was the man who 'saved' me from that lab,

"You're being treated in our guild's hospital"

Behind the man's curly hair, i could see a trace of coldness and even a hint of pity in his gaze.I suppressed my inner emotions as i stared into the man's black eyes. Since i was a child, I always has been subjected to these types of stares.i immediately realized why this man was looking at me with that type of gaze.

'I don't mind'

I, on the other hand, is unconcerned about any of this. Is battle for pride and ego feed you? No, it's only to fulfill your own emotions and human viewpoints.I don't care at this point.I am a type of person who is unconcerned about everything as long as i achieve my objectives.

I consider myself to be a selfish person which is true.

"Who are you?"

As soon as i heard his inquiry, who had been staring into the my eyes, I returned to reality.

Who I'm i?

I began to open my mouth as I stared back at him, showing no fear

"haru yoshida"

My eyes narrow secretly while examining the man in front of me, staring into his pure black eyes.

'and soon will take everything'

I didn't say it out loud, of course. It was my personal purpose to track down the bastards who had made me suffer and take everything they had taken from me and pay it back.

Im the type of person who resolves to take or repay people who have wronged me or treated me well.

'Hmm... Though I'm not sure if they're still alive so I'll just have to see for myself ' I smile to myself as I think about my future plans now that I'm free from that hellhole.

However, when Seo questioned his identity, he mistook his smile for a sorrowful smile, which made his face look cold and stern.

"Are you Korean?"

Of course, they need to know who he is, Seo who was questionong him was intrigued by this individual, this mysterious individual was the only one they found on that dreadful building in the middle of nowhere even though he was never been curious like this before.

'....He's like an open book'

I sighed inwardly as i examined the man in front of me who has full of curiosity in his face. I was expecting to be interrogated, yet i couldn't help to be annoyed but I have to acquire their favor and trust so i won't get in too much trouble and might even use them.

"I am"

"you're not from overseas?"

"No...I am half japanese though"

Seo eyebrows furrowed in confusion; despite the name of a japanese he has a European like appearance. His snow-white skin, his very white hair that makes it gleam a little, his pointy nose, and cherry-like lips.....

'Mostly.....'

seo thought as he looks him in the eyes. He already knew this, but he stared into those unordinary jewel-like eyes with rainbow colors once again. those eyes are incredibly unique and alien to him, even though he doesn't enjoy pretty things, and he's sure he's not the only one who feels this way or people may even overreact to them when they see it.

They've confirmed that he's a human, but they're mystified by his looks and eyes, which are unlike any other human's. As a result, they've come to the conclusion that it's a skill.

However, Seo detects a faint aura that is both familiar and unfamiliar.

"are you a human?"

".....I am"

I replied, exhibiting my uncertainty.

Can he detect my butterflies?,He's strong afterall, but I'm planning on hiding things, so this might be risky for me.

"then.."

"I got this when the people experimented on me I'm not sure what I can do with it because I couldn't utilize it before."

As I lifted my hand in the air and I cut him off by stating the truth at the same time saying bit of a lie to avoid suspicion, also mentioning the brief description of my past that I was being experimented on which is true.

flap, flap

Light particles gathered in the air and morphed into the shape of a butterfly, flapping its wings as if alive and landing on one of my fingers.

"I see... tell me what it can do" the man named seo seemingly taken aback by this unusual skill that he is seeing but turning back to his stoic expression.

'....Can he sense their utility as well?' I wondered and thinking how strong is this man to be able to sense it.

"I..."

pretending to be hesitant to say something, but the truth is that I simply do not want to say it. Why should I tell him how useful these small fellows are? I'm already predicting the following steps he'll take if I tell him.

"If you don't want to tell me, that's fine."

As I acted hesitantly, he seemed to perceive my discomfort and respected it giving me relief.

"thank you.."

I acted taken aback to his kind behaviour Surprisingly Despite his nosiness, he's a breeze to talk to and deal with.

"You can tell it once the guild leader arrives here" he added in with a serious expression on his face while looking at me with caution

'I take it back'. I grumble internally as I easily jumped into such judgements about him.

knock, knock

I turned my attention to the knocking at the door, which opened quickly to reveal a woman dressed in a formal black suit which suits her long black hair well, she smiled at me as soon as she walked in,

"How are you feeling?"

I nodded my head to her softly and replied, "im okay," soon recognizing her as she was the one with the man in front of me, who discovered me at that place for short one of my 'saviors'.

"guild leader"

As he greeted the woman, Seo bow his head slightly showing his respect.Considering how respectful this man was to this woman while being much stronger, it appears that the woman is the boss here. the woman nodded and turned back to face me as she walked up to me and extended her hand

"Nice to meet you, I am Lee Joo ha the guild master of Saja guild"

'Saja guild?....' what is that?.. I need to find out.. I slowly realize how much I lack knowledge on the outside world making my stomach churn wanting to know more but hid it perfectly outside pretending to be a innocent victim like I am.

"...I'm Haru Yoshida"

But why is she reaching out with her hand like that? I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion while im was pondering how and what to do as I never experience such things before when it comes to human interaction like this.

the two others in the room appeared to have misinterpreted his movements., Despite the fact that they saved him, he is still wary of them, demonstrating how he does not trust others easily which is understandable.

Lee Jo ha pulled her hands behind her back and smiled bitterly as she recalled what happened when they rescued him.

'....What exactly is it?'

Unconsciously, I frown as I notice their stiff faces making me feel concerned 'did they found out I was acting?' I overthink their behaviour and about how they're actions to me, i need to use them or even use them as my cards in the future, I fake a cough and opened my mouth

"Thank you for saving me...". I showed my sincerity this time and look up to the woman named Lee Jo ha observing her every actions. Lee Jo ha seems to be shock but soon smiled at me and nodded her head giving me another relief.

"Please do not worry and be at ease, we want you to know that we will continue to protect you so please cooperate with us in the investigation." Lee Jo ha calmly stated giving me a reassuring smile making me smile back acting like I believe in her.

Continue to protect... I highlighted this word into my mind, it is clear that there is an exchange in this matter after all nothing in the world is free.Her words sounds reassuring If I had been truly an innocent victim, I would fall for it.when examining, I can tell Her face was tight and filled with eagerness acting calm as a facade. However, this confirms that they would keep and protect me therefore in exchange for information making it a good thing.but,

"Okay, Haru-ssi, myself and seo will let you rest. If you have any concerns, there is a phone next to you where you may voice them." Lee Jo ha spoke gently at me while smiling warmly.

'what?...'

I was dumbfounded when the two of them quietly walked away and gently closing the door, leaving me speechless.

'How could they have left so quickly?....'

Haru, who was expecting to be interrogated, was taken aback when the two left him to rest peacefully.
