Chapter 82 - End of Prologue(Part 13)

"Guess this is it...I probably won't ever see this place again," I muttered to myself, as I finished packing my things and slung my backpack over my shoulder, looking around at my room.

Well, it was nice while it lasted...but I can't stay here anymore. Everything in this mansion...it reminds me of her. I'm...I'm trying not to think about it. I feel like I'll completely break down if I do.

I rubbed my sleeve against my eyes as I felt them start to water, grimacing as I shook my head and headed for the door, switching off the lights in this room for the last time, before opening the door and stepped out.

"So, you're really leaving, huh?" Viola greeted me, leaning against the wall ahead of the room door, a wistful smile on her face.

"Yeah, I am. You can hear my thoughts, so you know I won't change my mind," I replied, as I shut the door.
