Following a miserable, wretched life and a tragic, untimely death, the protagonist finds himself reincarnated as a baby in a different world to the one he was in before. In this world, there are people with special powers, known as Alters.

Determined to avoid going through the strife and hardship of his previous life, the protagonist decides to keep his powers hidden and strive to live a peaceful life in this new world. 

But it doesn't last long, his peaceful life is shattered and he gets thrust into the cruel reality of this world, a world wracked with prejudice and conflict. And it soon becomes apparent to him, that any peace he had hoped to find in this world, he would have to fight for...

"H-hey, aren't you Turbo from Unity?"

"Stay behind me," I instructed the two girls, stepping out in front of them as the woman kept her eyes on me, her blank expression sending chills down my spine.

She then crouched down low, continuing to keep her gaze fixed on me before suddenly leaping straight at me, my eyes widening in alarm as she closed in on me in an instant...she's fast!

I quickly ducked as she slashed her claws at me, narrowly avoiding getting hit, before unleashing a rapid punch at her midsection, striking her stomach and knocking her back, wincing in pain as she clawed my forearm in the instant my fist made contact with her stomach.
