Following a miserable, wretched life and a tragic, untimely death, the protagonist finds himself reincarnated as a baby in a different world to the one he was in before. In this world, there are people with special powers, known as Alters.

Determined to avoid going through the strife and hardship of his previous life, the protagonist decides to keep his powers hidden and strive to live a peaceful life in this new world. 

But it doesn't last long, his peaceful life is shattered and he gets thrust into the cruel reality of this world, a world wracked with prejudice and conflict. And it soon becomes apparent to him, that any peace he had hoped to find in this world, he would have to fight for...

"Okay, look straight into the camera. Put on a relaxed, casual smile, that should help keep anyone from being suspicious of you."

"Whatever, just take the picture already," I sighed, plastering on a fake smile onto my face, before a flash burst out from the camera.

"Hm...yeah, guess this works, looks decent enough. Alright, I'll use this pic for your fake passport, I should have it ready by tomorrow morning," Replied Eland, as he glanced at the camera display.

"You look so different like this, I probably wouldn't recognize you if I didn't know it was you," Remarked Vella, as she peered over his shoulder to get a look at the picture.

Today's the 5th of February, 2021. A couple of days have passed since I left Liberty, I'd been about to book myself a plane ticket to Larisk, before stopping as I realized that I need to travel incognito, since you know, I am a wanted criminal here in Cahgo.
