105. Infiltration.

*Bang*

The javelin shot like thunder and hit the wall. There were already about ten javelins stuck to the wall outside the city of Luxor.

One of the soldiers ducked, fearing that it might hit him. The other joked, "Don't worry. She is doing it every half an hour. None of them had ever reached the top. It was impossible."

"It's impossible," The soldier, who had come for a change of duty, mumbled. Looking at the camp about a kilometre away from the wall, he knew it should be impossible even to throw a javelin at the wall. Still, she was doing it again and again. He couldn't help asking, "Why is she doing it?"

"Why are you doing it?" About a kilometre away, Nisa was asking the same question. Thyra smiled and returned to her camp with Nisa and Rika. Selda and Ondor were also present.

Thyra took her seat and said, "As soon as I give the signal, we will be leaving the camp."

"But we just set up the camp. Even if we start to remove everything, it will still take an hour or two before we can disassemble the entire camp." Nisa was the one to ask. Sometimes, she couldn't understand what was going through Thyra's mind.

"There is no need to do that." Thyra shook her head. "Keep the camp as it is. Just take the armour and weapon. Everything will be over by the end of tomorrow."

Selda couldn't help asking, "Are we returning to the village where the logistics group was stationed?"

Thyra had ordered the logistics to camp at the village where they had camped last night. Others would be worried about leaving their logistic team behind, but Thyra's group wasn't a simple one, and each of them trained like a soldier.

But the only reason she had decided to leave them behind was because of the carriages that were carrying all the excess food and other things. In the event of war, they would be the first to be hit.

"No, we are going to the city," Thyra added.

"We are attacking them at night?"

"Even if we are more adapted to fighting at night, I think they will be extra careful tonight. It will be a hard fight."

Thyra smiled, saying, "We won't need to fight if they open the gate for us."

"But how are you going to convince them?" Everyone present in the room had no idea what Thyra was talking about. They understood Thyra had some plan but didn't know what it was. And it was not like Thyra had any intention of telling them. But there was only one who wasn't bothered to put her thoughts into what she was talking about.

Thyra looked at her, saying, "Rika, your part is most important. You will be the one who will take care of the general of the enemy army."

"Gladly." Rika was all smiles, saying, "I am itching for some action."

"But you need to do it as calmly as possible." Thyra turned towards Nisa, asking, "You have that thing, right?"

"That thing?" Nisa frowned, asking, "Poison or the sleeping potion? Which one are you talking about?"

"Any one of them will do. Carry it with you." Thyra nodded and said, "As soon as the sky darkens, you will leave the camp. Feitur must have already informed the enemy about our arrival. By the direction of their camp, they will come from the south when they come. You guys will wait at the north gate. Feitur's army will come from the east to…"

"How can you be so sure about that?"

"Because I will order them to." The lack of explanation and Thyra's smile irked Nisa more, but Thyra wasn't entertaining her. "I want you to come in as soon as the east door opens. Don't attack anybody, as long as I don't say it. Rika will be in charge of the mission. Follow her every order."

"Are you going to use your skill again?"

Thyra smiled and was about to say something, but the guard outside her tent shouted, "Leader, Captain Fanger is here."

"Come in."

"Leader, they had started to remove their camp." Fanger said, adding, "It took me one and a half hours to come here. I think they will start marching soon. So, they will be here within two hours and a half once they start marching."

"Is there anyone on the lookout?"

"I have kept two more scout groups there. They will leave as soon as the enemy starts marching. So, the next time the scout will be here to report, the enemy will be here within an hour of that."

"Okay, tell them not to come to the camp anymore. Use the whistle to communicate." Thyra said to stand up, asking, "How long has it been since the last javelin?"

"It's about time," Selda said.

"From now on, follow Rika's order. Leave the camp at sundown." Thyra walked out of the tent.

"But why are you repeating the same thing again and again? You are not even hitting them. What is the use of this?"

Thyra grabbed the javelin and walked out in the open. Thyra raised javelin, smiled and said, "I am doing this so that they won't question if I use my skill and create a *Bang*"

They watched in shock as Thyra didn't just throw the javelin; her entire body was turned into a lightning bolt and vanished from the spot.

"It was her plan all along." Nisa looked towards the city as she understood Thyra's plan. Thyra could transform into lightning and infiltrate the city at any time. The only problem was that it created a loud boom with its ability.

"If she had done it before, we could have taken control of the city long ago."

"But that would take care of half of the problem." Rika said, continuing, "We don't have much time. We have to move out as soon as it turns dark."

However, unlike them, the soldiers on the wall didn't have the luxury to calmly examine why this time's attack was so powerful that it broke off a part of the stone wall. It created such chaos that none of them noticed that a spark had jumped off the wall and flew in the direction of the biggest building in the city.

Although it was quite far away from the wall, such a distance was nothing for Thyra, who could transform her body into a lightning bolt. Her body passed through the window and transformed into slime as she collided with the wall.

She slowly moved around as she looked for a victim. Soon, she found a maid cleaning at the end of the corridor.

The slime didn't need long to suffocate the maid, and Thyra shapeshifted into the maid. Thyra pulled her into the closest room, which turned out to be a storehouse of some sort. Thyra quickly stripped the unconscious maid and donned the dress before coming out.

Thyra took the duster and moved to find Feitur. But as luck would have it, someone caught her from behind as soon as Thyra turned the corridor.

Before deciding whether to attack, she heard the woman say, "What are you doing here, Mayera? It will soon be time for dinner. Quickly come to the kitchen with me."

Thyra stopped for a moment, but the young maid grabbed her and pulled her to the kitchen.
