"We are going to miss you here," Arwan said as he placed a kiss on Seraphina's forehead before finally stepping back. As soon as he let her go, Kethan was there to pull her into a hug.

"I shouldn't have stopped last night after that second kiss. I'm regretting it now," the vampire prince confessed, not caring that everyone around him could hear him loud and clear.

"I'm only going away for the weekend. I will be back on Monday," Seraphina reminded her husbands. But her words didn't seem to do much. They still looked as if she was leaving for a much longer time.

As she tried to think of a way to lighten the mood, Raven decided to break his silence and spoke up. "Just leave them. They will be fine here with me. Go and enjoy your time with Lucian. Look, he's waiting for you."

Seraphina glanced over her shoulder and noticed Lucian standing by the carriage at the castle's main gate. She, on the other hand, stood on the porch with the other three Shadow Lords.
