Shadow Lords' Decisions

"This is so hard to believe. I kept feeling that it's a dream and will break at any given moment." Arwan said as his gaze drifted around the garden, taking in the beautiful view of sunlight for the first time.

Though the clouds had mostly disappeared from the sky, it seemed like there was still a hazy layer of it left that was filtering the sunlight. Thus, even though it was noon, the sunlight only felt warm and not hot. It was actually better considering the people of the city were stepping in the sunlight after four long centuries.

Seraphina reached out for Arwan's hand and gave it a light squeeze. The man turned his attention toward her and a moment of silence passed between them that spoke volumes.

The five of them were currently sunbathing in one of the side gardens of the castle while the staff of the castle was enjoying the sun in the front garden. Having the space to themselves, they couldn't help but let their inner thoughts come out.
