The Moonlit Awakening

Seraphina felt the world around her wavering, flickering between what felt real and what didn't.

She was dreaming... or to be more accurate - she was having another one of those dream visions.

As the world around her stabilized, she found herself standing in Lucian's bedroom where the familiar scent of mist and crisp air surrounded her.

The moonlight was pouring through the large windows, casting silver light over the dark wooden furniture. The deep blue and white drapes were swaying slightly despite the absence of wind. The warmth of Lucian's presence was lingering in the air, but he was nowhere to be seen.

Her gaze moved around the chamber before landing on the coffee table in front of the couch.

And that's where she found it - the Moonlit Stone.

It was sitting openly on the table, its surface shimmering with an ethereal glow. That wasn't right. Lucian never left it out in the open, always keeping it secured.
