Chapter 13 : Golden Crown

This is unusual for a servant to ask their emperor to have a tea together. If i'm in a bad mood, i might called this behavior disrespectful.
"Alright, lead the way"

I followed this young soldier into His room. It's not that far from the garden.

This room was not small but also not big. garden view, wind breeze, and the smell of grass. It's such a Cozy room. Just after i entered the room, i Saw a few candle light. What's up with this fragrance? It seems like this candle have calm affect.
In the center of the room, there are small table with tea set on top of it.
"Your Majesty, please have a seat"
without saying anything i take my seat. This soldier actually kinda pretty. The way he serve me the tea it almost seems like he have been training just for this moment.
"Your Majesty, please enjoy the tea"
When i place the tea near my lips, i could smell something weird inside it. It's only faint smell but i know something was wrong. The tea have been drugged.
He stir this tea sith silver spoon earlier, so it wasn't poison. Another kind of drug was added into this tea. Let's just pretend to drink it. I brought the tea near my lips and pretended to drink it.
"Your Majesty, how was the tea?"
"It's good and also has unique fragrant, i kinda liked this tea"
This young soldier smile shyly and put down the tea he's holding.
"Your Majesty, this tea also help to relax the muscle. I Saw your majesty often sleep late during the night. I hope this tea could help your Majesty even if it's just a bit"
What scheme does he have. You want to help me relax but you put something else inside the tea.
"Your Majesty, your muscle must be sore isn't, how about i give you massage"
The way he talked to me make me disgusted. Let's just play along with His scenario and see what he want. I pretend to nodded and accept His offer.
"Your Majesty, please lay down on my bed, i Will prepare the massage oil"
Oh, so this is it. this is His scheme. He want to climb on me. So the drug inside the tea was probably an approsidiac. Fortunately i didn't drink that tea. Let's just went along with His play.
I stand up from my seat and sit down on His bed.
"Your Majesty, please lay down"
I lay down on the bed and waiting for His next move. The way he touch my shoulder and went down to my chest, it makes me disgusted. I couldn't hold it anymore.
I grab His neck and suffocating him. I push him towards the floor. I could Saw His shocked expression.
"GUARDS!!"
Five guards went inside the room. they stop this young soldier movement.
"How dare you trying to drug me?! do you have death wish?"
"W-wait... your Majesty, let me explain"
"Guards, call the physician here and them to examine this tea"
One of the guard bow down and walk away to call the physician. A few minutes later, an old physician come. After some examination,
"Your Majesty, there is a approsidiac inside this tea"
As i thought, this pure looking soldier is actually full of scheme.
"Your Majesty, i can explain!"
"Crime shall be judged, But since you tried to harm the emperor, Your sin Shall be annihilated"
There was a shock expression in this young soldier face. A few second later, he looked at me with those sad smile.
"I already prepared to die since i planned to drug you. At least i won't regret anything by died from your hands"
His words makes me disgusted. If he's died, he Will died peacefully. His sin cannot be taken lightly.
"Guards.... crime shall be judged, banish this person outside the Border and don't let him step a foot in this country again"
"w-wait... why your Majesty?!"
I can't stand His disgusting word for long. I step out from the room and leaving them alone. even after i walk faraway from that place, i could hear His agony calling for me.
