Chapter 16 : Golden Crown IV

Do you think i Will stand still when my soon to be companiom hurt like this? He's the person who stay beside me until my last breath.

"I don't want to..." Seen him treated like this

My words won't come out. I don't even know what kind of emotion is this.

"What do you mean your highness?"

I'm here just for him, so i should stay close with him. Without me realizing it, i already pointed my finger at him.

"I want him"

I haven't spend a single time with him, and even if i did, it isn't a good memory. I want to replace that disturbing memory from his mind. i want to help him and i want to become the person who stay beside him. I'm sure no one would understand my choice, no one will believe me if i said that i was from the future. I might be a small kid now, but inside i'm the emperor from the future, the one who would trample my enemies.

I could see a confused face from the xiao family member. Not only them, but also this Xiao Yueyang who i despised the most in the past also didn't understand what i mean. 

"B-but your highness, this kid is only a dirty blood from our family, he doesn't deserve to serve a mighty person like your highness"

what a shameless act. They treated him like this because he's a dirty blood among the family? If you know about him in the future, you might cry and begged him to stay inside your family, He will become the youngest general you ever know. 

"so what? do you want to disobey me?"

When i was a child, a lot of adult tried to take advantage of me. That kind of act wont work on me now since i'm an adult from the inside. My heavy title as the emperor's child make them tremble. Just from my glare, all of them fall on their knees. Whatever they are willing or not, my words is like a sword on their neck right now. Even the guards who standing beside me also emitting an aura that cannot be ignored. 

The xiao family kneeled down in frustration, burrying their face to the ground.

"N-no, i didn't dare, your highness"

I glance towards Xiao Yueyang, "You, are you willing to serve me while I'm here?"

The only way to drag you to my side is by being close to you. I don't care if he's willing to become my general once again, but i won't let him suffer again. Become general might be tough, so i will give him a position as a bodyguard who serve close to me, i need someone who i can trust near me. 

the thought about my people betrayed me in the future makes me sick. I always listen to their words like a good king, but they only see me as a bloodlust emperor. If they want me to become the villain, i will become the villain for them. 

"y-yes", Xiao Yueyang answered me with stutter, does he afraid of me? well... i'm the young emperor after all, little by little i will repay my debt to you. 

"Good, bring me to my room", i can see Xiao Yueyang glancing awkwardly towards the Xiao Family head. The Xiao family head gritted his teeth and answered, "i will guide you into your room by myself, your highness"

For few minutes walk, silence goes on. And this Xiao Yueyang only staring at the air, are there something upside i wasn't aware of? One of my official said is a child acting strange during their childhood, that means there's something wrong or traumatic things happened and they can't forget. Traumatic.... The youngest general i know got abused?

"Your highness, this is the room. I hope your highness could have a comfortable stay"

That words immediately snapped me back to reality. 

"Good, now all of you leave me alone"

They all bowed down and turn around to leave, but then i noticed Xiao Yueyang tried to leave as well, so i called him.

"Except you.... I Want a warm bath"

It seems like Xiao Yueyang got confused, "I will prepare a warm bath for your highness", With that Xiao Yueyang left the room. 

I sit on the bed trying to collect my thought. His life is completely different from what i was imagined. i thought he was an ambitious person looking for fame and power, i don't know he's actually an abused person asked for attention. 

Suddenly i look out the window and heard a giggle, "Don't you hear that the lord's illegalimate child is the one who serve the young emperor while he's staying here?", i think it's the house servant who's gossiping about Xiao Yueyang. 

"who do you think he is? his birth is actually a mistake, why he got to serve the young emperor like that?" 

"he might become big headed after got to serve the emperor, when that happen i believe the lord want us to give him good 'education'", she giggle after saying that.

"His future might become a mess, he's the child from a brothel mistress after all", another giggle following. 

I can't stay quiet anymore, i kick the door open. 

"Shut up before i rip off that disgusting mouth of yours", those servants tremble and kneeled down, "f-forgive us your highness"

"Scram off", i order with cold eyes. All of them run away from my sight. I sigh. A part of me become Sympathetic of his condition. Not just his family, but his servant abuses him? 

A few moment later, i heard a footstep, but it's smaller than before. He already come back. 

"come in"

Xiao Yueyang come in nervously, "Your highness, the bath is ready"

"Take me there"

"Yes your highness"

After a few minutes of walk we arrived at the private room. I went inside and stare back at him, "Undress me"

"Pardon?", he was confused

"I said, undress me", his confued face is kinda funny to me. 

He reluctantly undress me. As he take off my clothes one by one, i noticed purple mark on his neck. When he tried to leave, i call him, "Undress"

"But i already undressed you"

"I mean you"
