"I suppose you are not doing anything to quench the rumor about you," Maximilian looked at the man who stood by the window, looking at the view of the city just outside the palace. He was wearing a black robe with golden patterns, and his long black hair moved as the wind made its presence.

This man is the current Lycan Emperor, or some folks call him the Lycan King – a title he holds with pride.

Aldric Frostbourne.

Aldric Frostbourne was the son of the previous Lycan king. He not only claimed his position by birthright but also proved his might by defeating all challengers who dared to test him, both in the past and present.

"Did you come here to gossip?" Aldric asked, his voice deep and warm. "I thought you came to boast about your beautiful wife."

"Beautiful is such an understatement," Max said without batting an eyelid.
