"Yes, I'm here," Roxana replied firmly.
Emilio did not reply to Roxana's words for a few moments, and the light in the communication crystal gradually dimmed. Roxana furrowed her brow in confusion.
"Emilio?" Roxana said, "Are you still there?"
"Yes! Yes! I'm here!" the communication crystal started to glow again, even brighter than before. "I'm just looking for a place that can't detect magic."
Roxana instantly remembered that every place in the Black Tower had sensors capable of sensing any magic released by the wizards. No matter how small the magic was, Izekiel could feel it. Therefore, every wizard had to report to Izekiel before they wanted to use magic so that he wouldn't misinterpret the magic as something threatening.
Despite this, there were still some places that didn't have magic sensors, such as the bathroom in the backyard and the lake outside the Black Tower.
