They Must Be Blind

Roxana didn't even understand why Lamia always thought she had made a mistake. However, she didn't think about it anymore when they reached the dining room.

Lona immediately stood up from her chair and walked over to Roxana as soon as she saw her enter the dining room. Her behavior was still as active as ever, but her smile was not as bright as usual.

"Your Grace, why didn't you see me yesterday? Did you not want to see me?" asked Lona in confusion.

Earl Knox approached his daughter and reminded Lona to be polite. "Lona, you must not say anything impertinent to Her Grace."

Roxana raised her hand and said with a gentle tone. "I'm fine. Besides, I made a mistake towards her because I broke my promise." Roxana kneeled before Lona. "I'm sorry, Lona. I was not feeling well yesterday, so I couldn't leave my room."

After hearing her excuse, Lona seemed worried and held Roxana's hands. "Are you sick, Your Grace? I'm sorry to make you feel guilty."
