Ryu looked around, trying to get his bearings, "I don't know. Something must have gone wrong with the portal."
Issei looked up at the sky, "It's getting dark. We need to find a place to rest for the night."
Ryu nodded, "Agreed. Let's see if we can find a clearing or something."
As they made their way through the forest, they noticed strange creatures lurking in the shadows. They were unlike anything they had ever seen before, with glowing eyes and sharp teeth.
"What are those things?" Aria asked, backing away.
Ryu drew his sword, "I don't know, but I don't like the looks of them. Stay close."
As they continued through the forest, the creatures seemed to grow more numerous and aggressive. Ryu and his friends were forced to fight them off, their hearts pounding with fear and adrenaline.
"This is crazy," Issei panted, "What kind of place is this?"
Ryu gritted his teeth, "I don't know, but we have to keep moving. We can't stay here."
Finally, after what seemed like hours of fighting, they emerged from the forest and found themselves at the edge of a vast, open plain. In the distance, they could see a small village, with lights twinkling in the darkness.
"There," Ryu said, pointing, "We can rest there for the night."
.
.
.
As they approached the village, they were greeted with wary looks from the locals.
But eventually, they were able to convince them to let them stay in a small inn for the night....
As they lay down in their beds, exhausted but relieved, Ryu couldn't help but wonder what other dangers lay ahead in this strange and unfamiliar world. But for now, all they could do was rest and prepare for whatever lay ahead.
"At last we can understand their language now"
"Yes you are right issei" Aria said...
...
The three of them were exhausted from the long journey and the fight against the creatures in the forest. They had just closed their eyes when they were awakened by a strange noise coming from outside.
it was already midnight but it was like just a moment for the three of them..
They quickly jumped out of their beds and rushed towards the door to investigate. As they opened the door, they found themselves surrounded by the same creatures they had fought in the forest. But this time, they were wearing the same clothes as the villagers...
"Looks like we fell into their trap," Ryu said, as he drew his sword.
Issei cracked his knuckles, "Well, we're not going down without a fight."
Aria summoned her powers, "Let's show them what we're made of."
The creatures attacked them with ferocity, but the three of them fought back with everything they had.
The creatures were not as strong as some of the other enemies they had faced before, but they were incredibly numerous. The fight was intense and brutal, with Ryu and his friends using every trick in the book to try and gain the upper hand.
"Issei, on your left!" Ryu shouted, as he parried a blow from one of the creatures.
Issei quickly turned around and punched the creature with all his strength, sending it flying across the room.
Aria used her powers to create a blinding light, disorienting the creatures and allowing Ryu and Issei to strike them from behind.
But despite their best efforts, the creatures seemed to keep coming. Their numbers were simply too great.
"We can't keep this up forever," Aria panted, as she dodged a blow from one of the creatures.
Ryu nodded, "We need to come up with a plan."
Issei grinned, "I have an idea. Just keep them busy for a little longer."
He quickly ran towards the door, luring the creatures after him. Ryu and Aria continued to fight, holding their ground as best they could.
Finally, Issei returned, a mischievous glint in his eye. He had found some barrels of oil in the village and had a plan to use them to their advantage.
"Ryu, Aria, get ready to light these barrels on fire," he shouted.
Ryu and Aria quickly understood his plan and prepared to ignite the barrels. Issei led the creatures towards the barrels, trying to get them in the perfect position.
"Now!" Ryu shouted, as he lit the barrels on fire.
Aria used her powers to create a gust of wind, spreading the flames across the room. The creatures were caught off guard, unable to escape the burning inferno.
As the last of the creatures fell to the ground, Ryu, Issei, and Aria collapsed onto the ground, exhausted but victorious.
"That was close," Aria breathed.
Issei chuckled, "But we made it out in one piece."
Ryu nodded, "We need to be more careful in the future. We never know what kind of enemies we might face."
But when all three of them were about to relax, they saw their worst nightmare or maybe the truth.
The animals that should have been burnt to ashes were standing up once again after the fire was extinguished....
"I..i don't think it's a good sign for us..."
Issei said in horror....
