Chapter 6: Honing My Body and Intense Training

"So you kept this from me for ten years mum!!!"After about 10 minutes of me shouting I finally calmed down and my head started making some calculations"Mum so if I don't hone my body or train physically my body wouldn't be able to adapt to my elemental affinities"I asked out of curiosity

"Yes Drake and try not to ask stupid questions,I always hoped you didn't Inherit your father's stupidity,she said out of annoyance"Mum Fâté is to be blamed for all this that is happening to us.No karmic luck,No father,No Throne,No elemental affinity for five more years,ARE YOU F*****G KIDDING ME"I was starting to get angry again."FÂTÉ WILL PAY FOR MESSING WITH MY FAMILY.Mum I promise to do everything in my power to bring down Fâté and avenge my father.I think am going to start where he finished

First I will bring down Àbyss and ascend the throne of the universe then I will put Fâté in it's place.I DRAKE KHÄÔS PLEDGE ON MY FATHER'S GRAVE AND KHÄÔS'S NAME TO RISE TO THE TOP AND BRING DOWN EVERY SINGLE ENEMY OF MY FAMILY!!!"I suddenly felt weak after saying all this and a strange glow of light started surrounding me."hugh Drake your father heard you and he has given you his blessings my son."Mum started weeping.I walked up to her and told her"mum no need to be sad my training starts now,five years later I will be on my way to the Academy I promise mum"With that I ran all the way to the city's Forest to begin my training.It was a long journey but I was running in as speed that isn't expected of a 10 year old like me.I got to the forest and stopped to catch my breath.While scavenging the forest in search of a cave or a nice spot to train,I noticed a thunder bird following me and watching me upclose .I tried ignoring it because I was no match for it.I was indeed scared because this bird is no ordinary thunder bird.Its a beast I. the 8th realm of cultivation with the lightning element.One strike from it and young, handsome Drake becomes a lightning pudding,sweet right.ok back to business I finally found an unoccupied cave and checked if it where the territory of any beast especially the thunder bird.I sat down in a nearby rock and sat in a meditative position trying if I can feel the energy around me.I tried for several hours but I still didn't feel anything although I know I wouldn't be able to,I still tried to see if I would make any progress.Anyone watching me from above will thin am a mad man trying to find something in my brain.I gave up trying to feel the energy around me after 3 hours of meditation.I the started my full and intense training.First I sprinted around the a whole forest which is about 300 kilometers.It was not an easy run but I still did it since am obviously not an average 10 year old kid .I sprinted for hours and stopped at the entrance of the cave.I started doing multiple exercises and lifting heavy rocks as weight.I repeated it until it was late in the night and headed back home.

'Its late in the night and Drake didn't even wait for me to even give him his father's weapons and gifts, sure he will be surprised and shocked when he comes.i would just wait'

'It's late and Drake is still not back,what is going on,am starting to get worried.few minutes later Drake arrived"Mum am Home"

After 30 minute,Drake finished his dinner"Drake I would like to give you somethings.I wanted to give you earlier today but before I knew it you were gone.You see your father left some things behind and I would like you to have them since you already know about him.First I would like to give you the keys to your father's personal hunting forest,He uses it to train and hone his body.with beasts.In this forest beasts that are in your level and a level higher will appear and attack you,so you are basically meant to kill them.It helps a lot in battle experience and creating one's will aura.when your father got to the 9th stage no beasts where powerful enough to face him so the forest became useless,but it's now yours for you to train and don't be scared about meeting powerful beasts, The forest only brings beasts that are in your level.The next is your father's personal system.It is a very powerful system your father found when he was young.It was accidentally created by Fâté and your father found it.It was one of the things that helped your father in his path to power.You will understand more about it when you finally use it"I gave him a black coloured stone"You just have to pour few drops of your blood on it and it becomes your personal system.Next is your father's shadow cloak,A cloak of true power made from the darkness of the void.It conceals the power of light and can make the user harness the power of the shadows around him.It also increases the users agility and stealth ten folds.It is also very good in hiding someone,just stay in the dark and you will become invisible,that is not all about the cloak.It is infused with a metal forged from the depth of the underworld which makes it indestructible.It can't be penetrated no matter what.so it's like an armour but in form of a cloak with no weight.Next is his sword.The sword rightfully belongs to the god of war but your father killed him and took his sword.It is so powerful and sharp that it can cut through a dragon's hide like butter.Next is your father's Space ring.Magical ring that has unlimited space to store anything.Lastly your father's pet,The great thunder bird that protect and guides your father.It has fought so many wars with your father and is currently the strongest beast but since it is your father's pet it is not the king of beasts and yes it's In the 5th stage of the 12th realm"I stopped and was shocked to see the expression on Drake's face,I knew he would be shocked,After all his father has the greatest arsenal"Drake are you ok.Do you understand what I just said!!!"
