CHAPTER 6 : behind the scene

"leo! "

"how many times have I told you not to disturb me when I am working "

"but dad..... I just wanted to tell you that.. ...

"slam!!.... "

Leo's father slammed his hand on the table

"what ever it is tell me later.

can't you see I'm busy right now"

"....dad.., just listen to me this time it's important. "

"if it's that important then go tell your mother.

I have a really urgent meeting right now, I have to go now. tell me later. "

after saying that Leo's dad left his study.

'but dad.....I just wanted tell you that I got accepted into a medical college... '

'you just never listen to me and mom is never home. '

leo mumbled to himself with a very sad expression on his face.

he wanted to shout these words to his parents but he couldn't.

he feared that if said something wrong, he will be left alone.

leo was the only child to his parents. an omega son.

he inherited his beautiful looks from his alpha father and omega mother. their wealth was overwhelming. they looked like a perfect family.

but as his beautiful appearance ,his relationship with his parents wasn't that beautiful.

his parents had an arranged marriage.

they were married because of their family's business reasons.

and giving birth to an family heir was also a formality for them.

after giving birth to leo, his parents were disappointed about he being an omega.

his father wanted an alpha son to take over his hospital business and his mother wasn't able to give birth anymore.

Leo's parents didn't love each other. they only did their duties which were important for their business.

One of these duties was to take care of leo. they never gave that much attention to leo.

he was mostly raised by his nanny.

but leo craved his parents affection like every child wants their parent's love.

he was so lonely after his nanny left him due to her unfortunate death.

to get his parents attention, he did his best in studies and every activity but even after all that ,they just neglected him.

that's how he grew up without his parents love and attention.

so after entering the collage he wanted all the attention to himself and he got that attention due to his family status and his beauty.

he even sometimes behaved like a jerk to those who were he thought as his competitors like Louis. Leo had a broken heart. he cried by himself in corner of his house. he pitied himself for behaving like that

deep down in his heart he knew that all this attention was a only temporary thing.

he new that most of the people approached him with alternative motives.

he wanted something genuine. like a true friendship.

one day leo noticed a beautiful girl in his class.

she seemed like a quite girl.

leo was curious.

he asked his other classmate pointing his index finger towards her direction

"hey , is that a new girl in our class? "

"who? ...oh, you mean lily? "

"so her name is lily...."

"but she's not a new girl, she's been here from the starting of this semester. it's been six months now"

"wha..t..!?....six months?

but how come I never noticed her? "

"you really didn't knew? "

".... no"

"I have talked to her sometimes, she seemed like a nice and friendly person"

after ending the conversation leo was looking at lily and thinking that how come his the only one who didn't knew about her.

after some thought he decided to forget about it.

on the next day his eyes coincidentally fell on her again , lily was helping some people with their work.

out of curiosity he observed her for sometime.

she really looked like a nice person.

he observed her some more time and found one more peculiar thing about her that most of the time she was only doing her own work and didn't involve herself in other people's businesses too much. but in every action she looked genuine.

he liked that thing about her.

he wanted to be friends with her.

he had a unknown feeling that may be she can become his genuine friend.

one time he tried to approach her but to his surprise she immediately left her place before he could even come near her.

he thought maybe she had some urgent work so he decided to come again later.

He was frustrated. because it had been many times now that he tried to approach her but every single time something came up and she was gone.

she was not even making an eye contact with him. it conformed his doubt that she was avoiding him.

'but why is she avoiding me? '

'I really want to ask her. '

Leo thought to himself.

so one day he decided to meet her by making an excuse.

he told one of his classmate to ask lily that 'he(Leo) was asking for her', after the lecture.

Leo didn't attend the lecture . he was waiting outside the classroom hall for lily to come out of the class after the lecture ended.

as the bell rang, the classroom door busted open and he saw lily hurriedly walking through the hallway.

he followed her from behind to catchup with her. she was really fast like running away.

he lost her in the crowd .but after speeding up his waking tempo he caught up and saw that she was on the ground collecting things.

Leo was walking towards lily and then he stood in front of her.

he wanted to talk to her all this time ,but at this moment he was not sure what to say so he blurred out some random words which came to him mouth nervously. he regretted it.

the he immediately sat down with her to help her. he was looking at her but her face was looking down.

she suddenly looked up and they made eye contact.

Leo was surprised at her action because she never made eye contact with him. as the ground was cold he told her to stand up.

when she asked him that why he wanted to meet her, he immediately told her an excuse about the professor.

but then again he just blurred out the truth. that he wanted to be friends with her.

he was shy because it was his first time asking someone to be friends with him and he was also angry at himself that he ruined his first impressive.
