A bloody sight

I found myself bundled to the blanket on the left side of the carriage, while he wrapped a blue and green wrapper around his waist.

He glared at me as he sat on his chair, looking as if I'm a liability.

"I can walk with Ray if you don't mind. I won't feel —"

"Don't you dare mention his name to me!" He sneered.

I flinched at the tune, while he relaxed back and closed his eyes, looking bored.

A smile tugged on the right side of my mouth. It's obvious that the current Storm is jealous. And it's either he doesn't know about it, or he doesn't wish to acknowledge his feelings.

Throughout the ride, I lay on the blanket watching him until I fell asleep somewhere around noon.

The sounds of grunting woke me up. I peeked an eye open when I noticed that the carriage had stopped moving.

I sat up on the blanket, and my eyes immediately went to where Storm was, but he wasn't there.

What the hell is happening?
