Planning a wedding

Ray left after that, and I went straight to the garden, eager to get the meeting with my mother off my shoulders. I know she won't let me live past it if I don't do as she wants. That's why I'm here when all I want is to have a nap, with my arms wrapped around the Omega, drawing him closer into my embrace.

Shit.

I think I gotta stop thinking about him all the damned time!

Mother was sitting on one of the benches in the garden, with her back to me, facing a rose flower which she bent down to sniff.

The moment she heard my footsteps, she turned to look at me, and her face brightened.

"Storm," she beckoned me to the moment she turned. "Come over here, son. This mother of yours has missed you!" She smiled at me, patting the space next to her.

Mother has always been the only one in my family, who doesn't fear me —well, that's when you exclude Theo and his sick and twisted games.
