Snu-snu and Energy?!

[Day 3... This keeps on happening...]

In the gothic-styled corridor of a former private boarding school, a redheaded school nurse walks out of the Infirmary, followed by a teenage boy with ethereal looks who has a fairy sitting on his shoulder.

Abel, who was actually now what was called an Inferior Husk, walks out of the Infirmary while tying his long, silky black, waist-length hair into a low ponytail with suturing thread found in the Infirmary after changing into the boy's, called Lance, clothes and asking Ms. Emberwing for something to tie his hair up with.

Ms. Emberwing started to walk forward when suddenly she was stopped by Abel, who had placed his hand on her shoulder.

Looking towards him in question, she was about to say something when Abel put his finger to his lip to tell her to keep quiet, then pointed to his ears in a sign for her to listen.

Straining her hearing, she started to hear faint but indistinct sounds from the offices up ahead, but when she thought that maybe it was a colleague, the sounds became more distinct, sounding like grunting and groaning noises and not the naughty type.

Realizing that there were some zombies up ahead, within the corridor, she looked to Abel, this time wanting to ask what they should be doing.

That was when Abel signaled for her to wait for him, and he started to proceed forward without much caution.

The first door after turning right out of the Infirmary had a groaning sound within, like two people were within the office. Abel proceeded to open it as quietly as possible, turning the doorknob and opening it to a sight that was fairly awkward.

Looking back at the figure of Ms. Emberwing, who was trying her best to avoid eye contact with a bright red face, with his eyebrow raised in a silent question, he looked back into the room.

Inside were two zombies lying on the floor, crawling in his direction, or rather, Ms. Emberwing's and Omi's, with most of their clothes lying around the office in disarray.

Obviously, they were up to having a special snu-snu time when one of them turned into a zombie, with the other having parts of their bodies missing and blood all over the floor.

Abel, not caring in the least about what they were up to before the Apocalypse and only finding the situation slightly amusing, walked up to them and waved the Broken Stick towards their heads, thinking that it might incapacitate them.

What actually happened was that the zombie on the receiving end of the swing had its head burst like a fucking water balloon when the stick came into contact with its head.

Again, Abel was shocked by his strength, looking at the stick in his hand that had no signs of even a single splinter missing, obviously not being a normal stick.

Looking at the other zombie that wasn't fazed by its partner's sudden passing, Abel missed the black, glowing runes on the stick and the slight growth at the splintered part.

Abel proceeded to smash the brains of the zombie into office decorations, considering whether he should place them in his inventory or not, when he realized there was a mist, similar to the Primordial Mist, lingering in the air that looked to be waiting for some kind of command to do something.

Abel asked Omi, with his left eyebrow raised and pointing towards the mist with his right index finger, "Omi, what is the purpose of this mist."

Omi quickly turned to Abel with a shocked look, mouth agape, and said, "How can you see the manifestation of Multiversal Energies?!"

"Multiversal Energies? What's that?" Abel said, squinting in confusion and looking all constipated.

Omi massaged the bridge of her nose in frustration at the anomaly that was Abel answering with a measured tone added to her voice, "Multiversal Energies are what you would simply call Experience that you would gain levels from as they normally automatically enter whoever did damage to that enemy according to the amount said person damaged the enemy.

But for you, it has always just lingered, waiting for something but disappearing soon after as you always use Envelop or Wither on the target. They do have other uses that you haven't found out yet and that I cannot speak about. Does that explanation make sense?"

Abel looked at Omi with black lines covering his face, asking in a panic, "Does that mean I'll never be able to level up like others?"

'Sigh! It seems that I was hoping for too much from Abel's Intelligence stats.' Omi thought in exasperation and futility while facepalming herself.

Seeing Omi facepalm, Abel gathered that he had said something stupid to her, having it confirmed when she spoke.

"You can still level up; just think or imagine your body accepting the Multiversal Energies, and you should gain what you call Experience." Omi said this while rubbing her nose bridge between her left thumb and index finger.

While blushing from embarrassment, Abel thought of Absorbing the mist-like Multiversal Energies with his eyes closed and seeing a prompt come up in front of his eyes while they were still closed, making him jump and hit his head on the ceiling.

Rubbing his head with his right hand while sitting on the floor, Abel decided to look at the amount of Exp. he had.

After looking at the two bodies, Abel looked at Omi and asked, while pointing at the two bodies and asking with a questioning tone, "What should we do about these two?"

Omi suddenly put her index finger and thumb on her chin, wondering if there was anything that they could do with the two zombies' bodies, when she suddenly remembered something.

She looked to Abel with shining eyes and told him in excitement, "Put them in your Inventory for now and then use Envelop later on them."

Abel went and placed them both in his Inventory, turning to leave the room when he heard a crash from the corridor, followed by a zombie groaning.

Walking out of the doorway, he saw an obese zombie walking in their direction while Ms. Emberwing stood there, pointing at where Abel had come from, with her mouth in an O shape.

As quickly as he could without having his head smash into the roof, Abel positioned himself between the zombie and Ms. Emberwing.

Looking at the zombie waddling over with its fat jiggling from side to side, Abel recognized it as one of the teachers that had verbally harassed the previous owner of the body, muttering to himself, "This kid was really a pushover."
