The journey to the Headmaster's office was neither too fast nor too slow, as Elijah matched the pace of the professor who had escorted him there. No one spoke between them on the way. Elijah did not know the professor, who was escorting him, so he chose not to say anything. Meanwhile, the professor didn't seem to be the talkative type either, as at most, he only replied with a nod when students stopped to greet him.


"Come in. The Academy Head is waiting inside."


Elijah thanked the professor and entered the Academy Head's room as instructed. As Elijah had expected, inside the room was already Sofia, who was called first. The girl's eyes looked up at him for the first time in a long time. Elijah looked back at her, but they didn't say anything until the end.


"Elijah, please forgive me for suddenly calling you like this."
