This story is about two mentally broken people who cannot give one another what they want, even though deep inside they wish they would find solace in each other, thus, although there is no "real" romance, they still manage to form their own twisted connection, and they don't really mind it.

This chapter is narrated by Ah Yeon.

Although I already heard what happened from Da Hye, I wanted to hear it from Lee Min Hyun, too. Maybe it was my selfish self talking but I was dying to learn what exactly drove him to make that irreversible choice and ruin both his life and himself.

Perhaps I simply wanted someone else to justify that choice, too.

"I could not control myself and made a huge mistake. Well, to be honest..."

He went silent again and I felt his chest tremble. Why was he hesitating? I grabbed his hands with mine and wrapped them around my waist, the splashing sound of the water echoed through the quiet bathroom like ocean waves. That was enough to shake him up once more.
