This story is about two mentally broken people who cannot give one another what they want, even though deep inside they wish they would find solace in each other, thus, although there is no "real" romance, they still manage to form their own twisted connection, and they don't really mind it.

Da Hye offered Ah Yeon a somewhat guilty smile and pressed her hands harder onto the edge of the wooden desk; she was obviously feeling uneasy and Ah Yeon had to give her a smile back in order to calm her friend down at least a little.

"Well, when I asked for your help, I was prepared for virtually anything, so no need to blame yourself. I will do whatever I can to help you. I guess... Mr. Yang and I now have our own score to settle."
