This story is about two mentally broken people who cannot give one another what they want, even though deep inside they wish they would find solace in each other, thus, although there is no "real" romance, they still manage to form their own twisted connection, and they don't really mind it.

"What the hell happened to his face?!"

Da Hye nearly jumped to her feet and widened her eyes as she watched Ah Yeon help Min Hyun walk into the living room. Ah Yeon felt a little guilty for bringing the guy back, considering he looked like he had just been hit by a truck, especially since it meant that her friend would have to use her connections to call in a doctor again.

"Sorry, Da Hye, it just turned out like this."

Da Hye rubbed her forehead with an annoyed gesture and sighed.

"We need to patch him up real fast, Mrs. Lee is coming today."

Ah Yeon looked at Min Hyun, who turned his face away and winced in pain as he attempted to take another step on his own. After Lee Min Hwa left for Mr. Kang's house, they hadn't had a chance to discuss what would happen next, particularly since nobody expected Lee Min Hyun to suddenly appear before them like that.
