Throughout their ride back, Damien did not utter any word to Skai, leaving her anxious.

She hated how things went with Yasmin and Shawn but more so, she was worried about Damien unleashing his power and aura.

"You can spill. I know you have a lot of questions."

Damien shook his head. "No. You're getting it wrong. I may have questions, but I understand you a lot right now."

Shock flashed in Skai's eyes. "Huh?!"

"Do not fret, love." He reached out, placing his hand over hers. "I might not have been on the receiving end of your brother's bullying, but I did have a fair share."

"You did?"

"Not as much and not in the way you do, but yeah, I had."

"Who would bully someone as handsome, kind, caring and powerful like you."
