It did not make sense. The king had taken everyone Tamiko loved under his wing. The mad king was aware of the fact that his son and Daniel had to have gone through in Grealor. He was aware down to the tiniest detail.

That was something the king wouldn't have wanted his son or his friend to go through again. Gabe was trying to make his people see sense but their adamance was something else.
